If I don't let the idle settle after starting, when I pull up at the lights the engine will have an high idle for about 5 seconds.So I wait 5 or so seconds before I move off.No problems just annoying.

 

Yep, have done it a few times myself on '08 RK, '09 RK, '09 FXST, and '10 FXWG,,, never when cold but when has already been run, and as Ando said, haven't noticed any issues.

Shouldn't have any effect, I try not to do so when cold, but shit happens and my girl seems to handle it ok
