Hi,

After joining almost a year ago, i've got some coin together to finally purchase a '08-'09 night rod special. Any feedback would be appreciated.  I'm 183cms tall and weigh 90kilos. Bike will be used for mainly cruising to Mannum, Victor Harbour, Adelaide Hills etc. Hell, anywhere on a good day....

Only advice i can give is, enjoy it

you wont be disappointed , i own a muscle and LOVE IT ...... at 183cm think you will find the Nightrod very comfortable ... i cruise to all those places heaps so will look out for ya , Cheers Paul

Yer man enjoy your bike, always liked the look  of the night rod and my little sister is considering buying one, ive got a mate who just put a wide arse kit on his and it looks a treat. developed by porshe arnt they?

i do believe that the engine was developed by porsche. some people think that night rods/v-rods are not true harleys. Who fckn cares, jump on and ride.....

Welome Ralph..I have a 2008 NRS with the orange stripes of course...I love it and it likes to be ridden.Can be a bit heavy on the steering at low speeds cos of the fat reat tyre but loves those big sweeping bends especially out towards Mannum ect.It is a very comfortable bike .Keep posted as we may catch up for a ride (I live near the start of the Gorge Road and often head up that way)...not a real Harley !!!! Crap !!
