I ride this stretch of road nearly every weekend. I cannot help but feel saddened by this tragic event. I was supposed to ride to Port Macquarie this weekend, three of us up the Putty. We drove instead. Through torrential rain, and even in my bright baby shit orange Toyota, idiots were still pulling out in front of me, and aggresively pushing themselves into my lane. We are all at risk here guys!! Ride safe and drive sensibly, especially during the Easter break when there are significantly more distracted mums and dads on the road. RIP!

A waste of lives, people are just way to impatient these days, who cares if you get home or to work or anywhere a few minutes late its better to be late, or you will be running the risk of killing someone else or killing yourself.

I think that everyone should have to ride a motorcycle for 12months just so people are more aware, but I guess you can't train stupidity out of some morons who share our roads.

People may say they died doing something they loved doing, they don't deserve to die because of someone's stupidity and I am sure I don't want to die on my bike in a road accident no matter how much I enjoy riding my bike.

Just have time for others on the road.

Very sad to here what happened to those poor boys.

I travelled up there in march and had a empty semi up my arse he was a real prick.

The thing that really shits me is these types of cage drivers dont give a shit.

RIP and condolences to the families

Ive met and ridden with one of the guys that was killed , he is a good friend of a couple of my mates. I rode on the Snowy run with with this guy and our mutual friends a couple of years back, had a few beers with him and his wife and met again in Sydney. He was a very nice guy. My friends told me that this guys son was actually not on the back with his dad but on one of the other bikes that came down and was not killed but injured. It was one of the dads friends that was pillion with him that was also killed. It must be horrific what the son and other riders were forced to witness as a result of such stupidity of the ute driver.

    RIP

We deal with this crap every day out on the road, it's what we do, at times we are forced to ride aggressive yet defensive to survive the idiots, and there are people in their tin tops who think we are the ones who are the risk takers. I don't see many motorcyclists with mobile phones suck to our ears or fingers etc. It's dumb arse shitheads like this bitch the law needs to be cracking down. Maybe if the local law enforcement was to get out on the road a bit more, instead of hiding behind farkin bushes with radar devices and do real work for a change it may stop some of the road carnage on our roads.

RIP to our fellow riding brothers. You will be missed on the black strip.
