Hey LV it looks great. In your night shot I saw another fuel gauge at the bottom of the read out. Is the one fitted to the tank still working?

Can someone here tell me if you have to unplug your standard fuel gauge and plug it into this unit to get the fuel gauge function to work?

    Thanks guys,

    Bluey

No Bluey you just unplug your old speedo and plug in the new one
I think the fuel gauge in the new speedo probably gets it's reading from the distance to go
function out of the ECU,It's a hell of a lot more accurate than the standard one too,

    Thanks Waz,

I have the Thundermax speedo/tacho panel with the Thundermax and Autotune. When you disconnect the standard fuel gauge you lose the fuel mileage functions in the speedo panel.

I wonder if this is the same with this unit. I would like to get rid of the standard fuel gauge. I like the idea of having the fuel gauge in the speedo panel.

If anyone here has tried disconnecting the standard fuel gauge to see if the speedo gauge still works I would appreciate knowing the outcome.

    Thanks, Bluey

    Thanks for the info Rocky!

I will possibly get one to get rid of the standard fuel gauge. I like the idea to have everything in the panel.

Do you have any problems seeing the speed it being so much smaller than the standard unit?

    Thanks again, Blue
