I travel to asia quite a bit on business and have a bike there now but want to buy a helmet. They dont sell anything besides junk there. It doesnt need to have the AU stickers and stuff but I'd like something good like a shoie or something but Im having a bugger of a time finding anywhere online to buy helmets. WHen I search it just comes back with .com.au websites...bloody google to smart for its own good I guess.

If you don't aus approved helmets try this place, they have heaps of different styles and makes of helmets.

Do a search for Helmets, Bell Helmets, Hot Leathers Helmets you find heaps on this site, they ship to australia and they are very good I have used this company many times now for a couple of years never had any problems.

Why not just buy one here and take it over with you???I wouldn't buy a helmet online as you can't try them on and experince tells me that  sizes can change from helmet to helmet even with the same brands....

Yeah thanks guys. I went to MCAS and a few other places and tried on helmets to get the sizing right. Finally found revzilla.com and bought a Shoei Multitec for $300 cheaper than anywhere in Oz and that includes shipping Just gos to show how expensive it must be for people to test helmets to the AU rules. Fuck knows why we even have to have our own helmet testing standard. I guess it keeps some beaurocrat in a job.
