    Hi fellow Harley riders,

I have good stocks of Amsoil 20w50 Fully Synthetic High Performance Motorcycle Oil (MCV) available and I can post it to anywhere in Australia. Amsoil is a great oil and its works very well in all 3 holes on the big twins and the 2 holes on the Sportsters. I give 10% discount for full box buys and this will normally cover postage to most states apart from TAS and WA, which are a little dearer.

I have owned my Harley for 19 years, I ride it harder than most would ride an old FLHS and have used Amsoil in it for the last 6 years since I started selling Amsoil in 2005. I have never had a lubrication related (or other breakdown in that time).

If you want to look at a good comparitive oil test (comparison) please go to http://www.amsoil.com/lit/g2156.pdf    2.15 MB

I have 3.8 litres (1 US Gallon) for $75.00 each at full price (there are 4 in a box to get 10% off that price).

Also, I have 946ml bottles (1 US Quart) for $20 each at full price (there are 12 in box to get 10% off that price).

I also have some Amsoil oil filters.

Prices are subject to change with each shipment.

I am in Broken Hill, NSW. Email: info@a1oils.com.au

    Just do it,

    Crosso

    No worries Smeemn,

Like i said i have been using it for 6 years and selling it to people all over Oz with not one complaint. It only needs changing once a year and u can do your whole bike for a half of one percent of the price of a new Harley (around $150 dollars with a filter with all 3 oils changed).. Cheapest mechanical insurance u can buy but there will always be those that think they get better value out of cheaper and nastier oils. To them i say i wish u all the best. Amsoil is only for those that want the best and dont like being broken down on the side of the road. There is cheap, shit oil everywhere and if thats what people want to put in their bikes then i say do it.

    See you out there :-)

    Hi Grotty,
Amsoil recommend that in all Evo and Twin-Cam big twins to change the engine oil and primary oil at intervals of up to 16,000km or one year - whichever comes first. For the transmission in the big twins they recomend that you change the oil at intervals of up to 32,000km or one year - whichever comes first. NOTE: If you use other oil filters than Amsoil ones you should change the filter at 8,000km.
Sportsters and V-Rods owners are recomended to change their oils at 16,000km or one year, whichever comes first. NOTE: If you use other oil filters than Amsoil ones you should change the filter at 8,000km.
We all should use commonsense as well, I know of some blokes who dont do many km and they leave their gearbox and sometimes their primary two years but for the sake of around an extra $40 worth of oil most dont bother to skip it. Amsoil does not build up sludge like other oils so it is fine to only change the engine oil once a year as with above info.
I could post a box of 4 gallons (15.2 litres)Registered Post to Brisbane for $32. This will cover 3 complete oil changes for your bike plus a little spare. It doesnt go off- just pays to keep unused containers out of the sun and rain.
    Hope that helps a bit.

Grotty, on a reasonably newish bike 6 month oil changes is a long way short. Oil additives ( the oil itself is good for over 4 times the k's you are changing it at) dont start falling apart for about twice the ks your are doing the changes at . Fuel blow by/dilution is the bigger issue for older bikes.

With mineral oil you could go 12 months or 8000ks (5000mile) with no loss. The issue with mineral oil is mainly the high temp our engines run at. With pure synthetic  you could go 12 months/12000ks and not lose anything. As long as you ride a couple of hundred Kms a month these figures hold. If you ride less you need to change the oil more often. And a filter every change of course.

Less than 100ks a month and you should be looking at an oil change every 3 months and a filter every year. ( acid/condensation build up in the oil is the issue here) .

Changing the oil any more often for a tared road only bike is just brag value or a way to lighten a wallet that is too heavy. It doesnt hurt anything, but it is not really helping either.

Hi Andij, Thanks for your thoughts. I am sure Redline make a good oil and Mobil V-Twin is a very good oil but I know Amsoil is an excellent oil. Amsoil's research/development, and commitment to making a quality product that they stand behind is second to none. As always my thoughts are 'only buy Amsoil if you want the best for your bike' - it works.

Thanks for that Burto - also when buying from me you can rest easy knowing you are buying from a fellow rider who uses Amsoil with full confidence and has done now for 6 years.

    Nice looking Fat Bob.
