Hi edison, Your power module ONLY needs to be taken in to the bike shop if you are going to DYNO tune your bike , Not for a service

Every bike is fitted with its own power comander, Coz evey bike is slightly diferent and the module is set to your bikes tune , so if they need to check on something Or re-tune it , They need your module to do that , But its not for your general service ,

Is it true that some bikes cylinders can vary up to 15% from each other when they leave the factory.... This was in an old Heavy Duty mag that I read recentley, and apparently the Super tuner smoothes it all out and gets it running sweet, also making the bike run faster, smoother and cooler... Is this true....

When my bike was a little off tune they ( the dealer )used the tuner to gather information from a run.They down load it to a computer,change a few set points then down load that to the bike. they call it a smart tune some dealers do it as a part of your service So you should ask if they need it when you get a service.

I was told by my dealer that the service dept required the tuner each time I take my bike in for a service.
