Anyone else aside from M&M anyone can recommend, they replied to my emails really quickly but unfortunately can't supply (don't have access to) the parts I need..
Have emailed 5 HD dealers in the US but no reply from any of them.
I have been given the same info, BUT, A couple of the dealers/traders while saying they will not accept internat orders can get around the the regs by you ringing the order through. A lot of the traders arnt classified as Harley Dealers and as such can on sell Harley Genuine parts as long as it is a phone or walk in order. I have done this with JPCycles, AmericanClassics,Valcanworks. It will proberbly last as long as the last time, which was about a month till the dealers realized they lost too much buisness.
This e-mail cut & paste below is from a mob who on-sell the Games Workshop's 'Warhammer' items. Some of you with kids may recognise that name; it's a popular gaming thing amongst teens in particular and it has a huge following across the Globe. My boy buys stuff from them and he's received this notification and it's almost identical to the Harley-Davidson parts thing we're discussing:
www.maelstromgames.co.uk) for we have the unpleasant task of informing all of our Rest of the World customers that Games Workshop will no longer allow us to sell their products to you - but here's an 18% off UK RRP voucher to soften the blow!
GW NO LONGER ALLOWING US TO SELL TO ROW CUSTOMERS
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Games Workshop's new Terms and Conditions, which come into force on the 31st of May 2011 restrict the sale - among other things - of all of their products to the European Union, although there are a couple of countries (such as Norway and Switzerland) that are geographically within Europe but not in the EU that we can still sell to.
The full list of countries that we can sell GW products to is as follows:
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom
Obviously this means that all of our faithful Games Workshop customers from the Anglosphere - Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United States - as well as those from Brazil, Chile, Peru, Russia, Japan and South Korea (apologies for those countries I have missed out) will now miss out on our superb service and cheap prices, but I'm afraid the terms and conditions of our contract with Games Workshop mean that we have to say goodbye.
And on it went. But the message is the same as HD. Too many Companies are on-selling their licenced products (at a far cheaper rate) and the big boys are putting a stop to it. Looks like everyone's jumping on the bandwagon.
