I had this problem as well. Try changing the battery or just adjusting it in the fob. That fixed it for me.

+ 1 on the fob, indicators turn off after a certain distance and speed,don't think this is related.The key light comes on if the signal is lost to the fob but the bike will still run,keep the fob in your shirt pocket up above the tank.Let us know how you go.........Thanks
