Ive been told that the 4.5 gallon tank goes straight on the 48 without any problems

can any one conccur ?

 

has any one done it yet ?

 

and or direct me to an existing thread ?

I see the upside down mirrors are still on which was one of my main conserns,I was worried they would hit the tank

edit - I went and checked out the thread as best I could without signing up and it did say something about modifying the mirrors  but wasnt specific ,Im guessing different arms ?

I also noticed the speedo is moved ,dunno if this was necessary or just cosmetic .

 

but the price difference form J&P to P>S is huge ,Im guessing the J&P is not genuine  and comes unpainted at 250 bux Not including postage

the price from P>S for a genuine (I hope) in vivid black is 1000 bux

I really love the old school look the 4.5 gallon  tank gives to the sporty 48 ,I know  its the penut tank  that makes it a 48 but after 500ks Im over stopping every 5 mins to fill up .

 

btw P>S in ringwood have a black nighster tank for 500 bux reduced from 998 if any one is looking for one (Im guessing its second hand )
