I am looking at upgrading my 96ci on 08 FXDC too get a bit more hp/tq, specs below.  

 

S&S 106 Big Bore Kit

S&S 570 OR 583 CAM

S&S 89cc SL Heads

SE Tapered Adjustable Push rods

 

Already have T/Max, S&S single bore tuned induction intake and samson legend 3 pomona pipes.

 

Comments and recommendations appreciated

How much are you looking at for that?

 $2800 for the parts including new heads and cylinders

 I am after a good boost in power across the board, i dont know too much about engine upgrades and this parts list is what i have come up with from a couple of days research.   A friend i was talking to mentioned S&S are top rate parts.

Have looked at Andrews and woods cams (andrews could be an option) and other big bore kits but keep coming back to S&S.  

Advice/recommendations on other parts (especially if they will be a cost saving) is more than welcome and if i can buy in OZ at a good price even better!!  

The price is in US dollars and will come down a little with the exchange at the moment.  Supplier is M&M Cycles (awesome supplier)

Have contacted Scott from Hillside Cycles earlier today just awaiting a reply for their 107 kit with Wood 8 cam, and very good heads,  not sure what  they mean by very good heads...

 

What did you have them do to your heads??
