I just used double sided tape after having my dash powder coated, works fine and hasnt moved after several washes.

Silastic, non acid type, same as you`d use attaching a mirror, try Bunnings.

Black Sikaflex. best there is.

You can get sikaflex in black or white,use it too glue windscreens in all the time.Great stuff.
