Just opened up my Email to recieve a message from a good mate of mine telling me he was involved in an accident last weekend. Seems he and his lady were on the Fat Boy cruising down Kangaroo valley when they were hit head on by a bloody idiot on a skate board!!Jesus H Christ is every bugger out to get us? Fortunately both he and his lady are not seriously hurt, bumps and bruizes. Fat Boy not so lucky. Havent seen it but believe it needs a bit of work. The only thing banged up more than the Fat Boy is the skate board rider. Seems the HD ended up on top of him. he is still in hospital. Hope the Fat Boy recovers soon!!! So now ya gotta watch out for cars, trucks, buses, volvos pushbikes ,,,, ah shit everything!!       Oh by the way the cops booked the skate board f**kwit. $57 fine.

Assuming the bike's insured then the excess need only be paid but the skateboarder will be approached to pay for the damage by the bike owners insurance company, if refused it will go to court.

Latest news on my mate with the skate board incident. Has already lodged insurance claim. Has to pay excess but will recieve it refunded as he can identify the party at fault. Good thing is Police issued an infringment notice,which means insurance company will now chase him for the damages and excess. Fat Boy not extensively damaged but missing a lot of paint I believe. Rider has had xrays on shoulder. ribs and hips, all clear no breaks , just bruises. But ya gotta believe there is a god. his pilion is a nurse and I have it on good authority the she has a nurse naughty outfit!!!! Every cloud has a silver lining? Still we pray for the recovery of the Fat Boy and its brave crew!!!

I have seen these guys skate boarding down MT Keira near Wollongong while I have been riding my motorcyce, and this has been more than once, another person said he was driving down MT Keira also and he had seen them in front of him and noticed another guy behing on a skateboard hanging onto his car as he was driving down MT Keira.

They also ride down Maquarie Pass with their skateboards which is also very dangerous.

Just a lack of respect for others on the road, what will happen when they get run over by a car doing their stupid stunts.

Police and the RTA should be reviewing and changing the Laws regarding these fools riding on public roads, and until then will continually go on doing as they have been doing
