Check out www.jokermachine.com, they have a really tidy side mount speedo kit, hangs it just off the side of the tank, not all that expensive either.

On the topic - has anyone seen these for sale?

Its an RSD part I saw in a promo a year or 2 ago, but have never been able to get more info on it.....

Looks too cafe in this pic, but I reckon thats because of the clip ons and over fancy fasteners.

    A lot flatter than stock

Your sort of screwed, You carn't remove the Speedo from the Bike. The Alarm runs though it. If you disconect it the Bike will not run. I have seen guys Mounting them on the side with a Autometer Tacho Bracket

Plus a new bar clamp damo, or just hacked down and smoothed out the original to keep the lights up there?

I only posted the cafe style one as the OP said he didnt like the look of a side mount speedo.

"its very old school, reminds me of panhead/knucklhead, where everything looks awkeward."

I reckon side mount is .

    Tacho clamp is this one:

I grabbed a stock black harley bar clamp for $10 from eBay. Then again this set up is from a year ago. I know how different risers and will have different bars going on soon.

     Hi Damon

Am looking at the side mount option and have a couple of questions:

     - Is the gauge visible (must be right)?

     - You've had it on while now - is it a good option?

    Looks great
