as we all know, the chances of having a prang on your bike are reasonably high, usually due to car drivers wandering around with their heads up their arses. after a few months of research i came across a policy that is basically bike specific, covers your income and is simple , no bullshit and pays quick. just about every one i have told about it have taken out a policy, due to the fact it is so simple. if any one is intersted in more info send me a pm and i will point you in the right direction. i reckon its a good thing.

The TAC already covers your income (and all medical costs) if you live in Victoria and get hurt in a registered vehicle.
It's actually a bloody good system we have down here. Don't ask me how I know !
It's strange we don't have a uniform system Australia wide.
The only thing that pisses me off, Is that we have to pay TAC insurance on every registered vehicle we own.

yes, it really does pisses of when we have to pay e to pay TAC insurance on every registered vehicle we own.
And one more this i would like to speak bout income protection insurance, income protection is worth considering for all working people. It can pay a proportion of your salary if you’re temporarily unable to work because of sickness or injury.

u dont get 100% of ur income from TAC tho, more like 75%.As for income protection, we fought for this in our last EBA at work with the union (instead of a payrise one year),we have 2 years cover for 100%, and if its on road it makes up the shortfall from TAC...win win
