For those that can go on a trip mid week because of retirement, being a shift worker or have some leave available. Most of the trips I plan will be late- ish start and about 4 hours or so. That gives the mums with bikes to take part after dropping little Johnny off to school, and try and be back to pick him up at about 3pm.
Departure point - M4 Macca's westbound.
When - Friday 1st April (not a prank!)
Departure time - 9:30am
Trip - nothing new to many of you - Silverdale - Picton (coffee) - Camden - home. This is 'first off' and also on very short notice so I am keeping the ride short.
Conditions - full tank at Maccas before we leave. IF it is raining at Maccas at departure time, or rain is forecast, then ride is off. You can call me on eight double six, five double six ,zero nine or on oh four one four, eight three two, oh six one if you want to check up on things. Dont try calling at 9:30 - I dont use the phone when rding and at 9:30 I am on the way!
Been a good run so far. A bit cool, but has been dry. Road works were the only hazard. Just had coffee and a cake and am about to go exploring on the way home as I am riding alone.

About 4000 bugs committed suicide on me just after Picton. And then it took 5 hours to clean the bike later :-) But all in all, it was a great day for a ride.
Just the one, me. Not surprising as it was only the day before that I posted the ride. Due to my shifts I wont be doing another ride until after easter.
Hope you and the bugs still had a good ride. Often a solo run is the best of all. See you next time.
