07 883C Sportster fork oil info required

    My issue is that the front forks are rebounding too hard and banging into the stops. It feels like the front springs are too strong, which isn't likely as I weigh 90Kg and the springs are stock.

     

    Which to me says the fork oil is shot, or not enough in there. So the question becomes one of how much oil should be in there, what weight and what is the 'good length' for the front springs.

    The rears are the same, but they can only be fixed by changing them out. They are already on minimum spring preload. But that should  not be required as the bike hasn't even done 25000Ks yet! And panniers will be going on soon.

    I'd use 20w in the front forks. Amount you'll have to look it up.As for the rear increase the pre load to max.
