Since the purchase of my new open face I've let the beard grow out. I've had a goatie for 12years but now its old school bug catching only. From years of only wearing a fullface ( I had a few times I had bad openfaces that lasted a day then given away) I finally found a openface I like. I've been wondering how many forum harley readers/riders no longer have to worry about buying razors . Lots and lots of people don't like it but I don't care. I thought about buying a scarf thing but decieded not to. Give me a few months and I wont have to zip my jacket up.
Yep nothing wrong with the old "WOMB BROOM"
Beardies comin' outta the closet? Nice one Pastor. I've had a full beard since Oct 2010 but it grew by default following a Rip van Winkle experience... I was crook for yonks and it eventually became pneumonia. I was laid up in bed for nearly two weeks and when I arose I had a full beard (just about). So in true Rodney Rude fashion I thought, "I'll keep this bastard!"
Now I haven't had a beard for nearly 15 years and it's changed colour a tad since last we were aquainted! My boy reckons it's GREY, but I prefer 'stainless'. It's gotta have something to do with climate change - perhaps? Yeah, KC will back me on that...
Anyhoos, as we know, MO-vember follows October and so I got plenty of pats on the back for my efforts(!!) throughout MO-vember(WTF???). But then November became December and December brings... Christmas. And SANTA. Yep, if I had a dollar for every "Hey mate, ya look like Santa!" I'd have enough coin to uummmmm... nearly buy a carton!
funny you mentioned this. i brought the harley, grew a little facial hair, the mother in law (aka dragon) said it looked shocking, so i told her i wouldnt shave it (trim) till it was near my belly button. 3 months ago now. i too have that nice silver fleck
Beardy since 16. It comes and goes... but is definately always at its most fierce during (melb) winter - open face or not!
Had mine for 40 years. Shaved it off once for a charity event and my kids (who were small at the time) were so scared of the new me I grew it back. It's now short and white and here for good.
So many beardies on here Chinese people would be confused and think we all look the same.
Strenght in numbers let your face grow free.
