    Hi All,

Anyone running one of those old round Ramflo air filters with a Bendix......I'm was thinking of getting one for something different......or let me know of anything else interesting.

I seem to remember some people were having trouble with them on triple SUs with them catching on fire, but nothing wrong with living on the edge.

    Cheers

Depends on if you are keeping the Bendix. I am running an "E" but have gotten a lot of info out of the states and seriously thinking of putting a CV on. Apparently, they are the ducks nuts with the shovels.

not the best type , after a while the foam in the filter comes away a sucks fine  bit's  into the carb esp if the bendix spit's back as   sometimes as they can, it burns the foam from the inside , & also the element is too small & too close the the mouth of the carb  to have good flow , may look cool  but not work proper ,

I put one of the oval type ones on my v-star. Never had any problems. It was strapped to dual mikunis. My dad also had them on SU's on his MG back in the day and was tuned pretty hard (for an MG anyway - It used to make about 130-140hp)

For the price cant beat them. Put one on and take some photos.
