Hi Guys, came accross this site. Seems like all the gear is genuine HD. Quite a bit more cost effective than buying retail in Melb/Aus.

Have any of you bought jackets, gloves etc online from US. Anything I should know? Do any of you have a preffered dealer for gear in the US.

I've bought stuff from this mob and they're OK: www.barnettharley.com located in El Paso, Texas.

Thing to beware on overseas purchases is postage costs (particularly the UK!!!). Always get/ask for postage cost. I think I paid $15 for postage on a t shirt from one mob in the US and another wanted (but didn't get) nearly $60 to mail a t shirt; buyer beware.

    Hi Guys,
I have bought from the USA and found for bigger items (parts) Zanotti to be good and for Leather I have purchased from Leatherup. At the time I bought both were best cost and postage. But as you know it still pays to hunt around, the advantage of Zanotti is thier quick parts locator then shipping calculator, so if you know the part number you have a good start.
    Cheers

Ive bought quite a bit of gear through St Paul HD and have found them to be great to deal with.

Their products are genuine and they are very helpful. I wouldnt hesitate to recomend them and to use them again in the future.

I have bought lots of stuff from St Paul and they are ok. However, if anything goes wrong with the product you will be on your own as Harley Aust are not obliged to handle any warranty issues so be aware !!!! I know this because I got an FXRG textile jacket that is not waterproof as stated and now have to deal with the States which I can tell you is impossible.

    Guys

Chicago HD and Zanottis (or what ever their name is) both now do not take any international orders.  I don't know why this is.

HD USA apparently has directed ALL of their dealers to not deal direct to anyone from australia and probably elsewhere.  Dealers here were very concerned about losing sales.  So unless u have a friend buy it for you and send...  maybe difficult...
