I am trying to get some idea of how good the Saddlemen SDP2600 luggage is.  I intend travelling down from sydney to the MotoGP in October and have been eyeing the SDP2600 for some while now.  The price is very good but if there is someone on the forum who may have some experience then it would be good to have some feedback on this.  From my perspective the load may be a bit high and affect the COG.  I have some older saddelbags but would like to try something else.  I know someone on this forum bought some a while ago. Thanks.

I have a road king and it wasnt an issue, didnt even notice it on the back to be honest and it was fully loaded .. I got mine off ebay. The bag just sat on the luggage rack and rapped around the sissy bar ... even with the accident we had, it didnt move or spill anything

    something different.
if you are going on a run to a destination for 3 days or longer and you like to camp (tent) why not just buy one and a cheap sleeping bag when you arrive, Big W or the like have a 2 person tent for around $40.00 and a bag for $40 to $60, the same as one night in a motel. when you are finished donate them to St. Vinnies or the Salvos.
save heaps of space on the bike for the important things, laptops with wireless internet and TV tuner.
