    Hello Friends,

Cowboy here, Newbie, and I thought you might like to see this... Not a skite, just a shared art exhibit here... heh he...  I already have a hot rodded 2011 orange and black CVO Street Glide, V&H extractors, Super Trap mufflers with 0 Discs so loud and low, race tuner, big sucker, LEDs in large windscreen bar, LEDs in chrome mirror covers, tail light, and CVO Passing Lights for the old school look.. My 7th Harley. But most of all I really like the hydraulic clutch feel, and my 110 SE engine that is broke in and about 20% more power than new at 5000 kms now since November...  Pictures on the 2011 Street Glide Topic this section...  But She rides hard and fast and is not exactly my Old School idea of a long range machine so I am adding some more colour to my garage..he heh....

Anyway, because I like the 110 engine, chrome, hyd clutch, and all the rest I have ordered what may be the first of this new colour CVO Ultra to come into Oz.  May Shipping, Delivery June-July.  Not that I don't like my Street Glide, but the big wheels and low profile tyres, hard cornering suspension, skinny seat, is hard on my old bones over about a 200km radius from home...  This is the fat tyre, fat seat, long range Ultra and the CVO comes with a host of goodies like auto locking boxes and such..  I could not do up my old Ultra for anywhere near the 50K this costs, with the chrome, goodies, hyd clutch, 110 engine (I am a fan)...    Thought maybe you might like to see the artwork in this, first time ever CVO release mid year: Note not meaning a skite, sharing the art with you in anticipation...  Cowboy, Sunshine Coast, Queensland

Thanks for the comments Guys....I am looking forward to it,,

I has a safer feel too, in bad weather or at night..  Besides the better long range ride, and top box for my Cowboy hat (really, got my face burned up this summer on bike events, with no top box for my hat).. he heh  Besides the comfort of the long range ride, I think the lights are a big asset..  My SESG does not show up as well in bad weather or night, compared to the extra lights in the Tour Pack...

Where with the same engine and gear, the top Tour Box lights do offer some added safety running at night or bad weather, eh?

    Phantom,

No worries, hit me again..   No bubble burst here, I am prepared and have done it already on another scooter..  Supposedly it is coming in that way...  Even if not, I have already added them in a top box,  I put them on my last Ultra, and even put the bag protection Classic Bars on with a full light bar all the way around the back.... It looked hot at night, and if in town where the coppers might see the side bar lights on the boxes it I had them on an accessory switch. But even when I forgot to turn them off:  Never had anyone mention anything about it... I was prepared to tell them "What, haven't you seen the new HD model yet?" But it never happened.  On my last Ultra, I even had the top box lights hooked up as Brake Lights. Never a problem.  Now it is not niight in this picture, but you get the idea, MAJOR BRIGHT. Looked good.  Would have been all he rage in Harlem...

Looking at my old Ultra now....

That lower light bar shown above would cover the flames of the BIG BLUE per the picture above, but fill out the pannier boxes to the width of the Tour Pack...  Might look OK... ?

    What do ya think?  Crazy?

     Howdy Cowboy

That will be some great looking ride when you can get your mitts on it. Am sure you'll move your street glide fairly easily. Are you gonna transfer that tasty exhaust off the SG to your new steed?

    Cheers

    Glen.

    No Glen,

I am going to leave em on for two reasons:  First, being a bit of a pig, I am toying with the idea of keeping both...  I want the same V&H set up extractor style on the Ultra... It pulls out the air from the cleaning cylinder with the exhaust of the firing cylinder stroke.  Also, my SG is lower and I have actually scrapped it up on curves... He he...  The CVO Ultra sits a bit higher and deserves a new set..

Really, if I do decide to sell it, it sounds so good with the V&H it will help to move it on faster...

Note your 110 has about 20% more in it when broke in and breathing easy with opened up Big Sucker style air cleaner and the V&H extractors.. You need a race tuner, with that set up..  It will go STRONG at about 5000 kms as it breaks in. On my Street Glide I have the big fat LED light bar under the windscreen, with side LEDs in that bar as indicators.. I also have chrome covers with indicators on the mirrors, and an LED tail light... And of course added the passing lights, canted out about 5 degrees for roo spotters... Our FLHXs are one of the sharpest looking scooter HD have ever done... Congratulations Glen, noice pick there.!!!

    Hello Phantom,

Just got a call from HD Shop Owner looking at a HOG Owners 2011, that Rio Red and Black Ember or what ever it is called CVO Ultra, and it DID COME into Oz with the lights in the top box... According to the Owner, and John Faithful of Maroochydore Harley Davidson.

Not the LEDs down the lower sides, but the back lights on the Tour Pack box came with the lights....  Good News..!  Led strips down the lower sides will be an easy fix, I might even put them on an accessory switch incase Transport pulls me up... heh he..  Dats for Off Road man!  I would add them anyway..

Cool !  Thirteen weeks or so, 14 hours, 23 minutes, but who is counting.... Ha ha... Little Kid in candy store..  I already have a cool ride in my Street Glide, but there is NOTHING as cool as getting used to and breaking in a new Harley...

    Alright Guys,

Vance and Hines extractors are a given, what about mufflers?  On my last Ultra I had SE "Slash Down" but I like the looks of the stock CVO SE mufflers on this BIG BLUE FLHTCUSE6...  Is there a baffle in the front of the stock SE muffler that can be cut out????

I like my scooters with a low and LOUD rumble, so there never is a "Blind Spot" they can feel be coming...

The stock CVO SE muffler look good, but SE stuff is a little too muffled for my liking....  heh he..  Anybody help?  I hate to buy Screaming Eagle mufflers when it comes with ones that have that cool "Dual Exaust" look already...  My last slash downs, and then the CVO ones coming below:

Best regards from Cowboy, horses and Harleys...
