Can anyone out there help me? Here's the deal. I'm recently new to the wonderful World of Harley Davidson. I passed my bike test in the UK in October 2010 and immediately bought myself a cracking 2 year old Nightster. I've since found myself in Australia where I'm planning to be for the next few years. Unfortunately , Australian import law does not allow personal imports if you've owned a bike less than 12 months. Does anyone know of any way around this as the cost of a Nightster here with the same mods as mine would be upwards of 15,000 aus dollars? To that end, does anyone know the full cost of compliance tests, speedo changes etc? Sorry if my questions are a bit vague....I'm just desperate to get back on my bike or a Harley here in Oz. Yeh, I am pretty much resigned to the fact that the bike will have to remain in the UK and I'll have to save

up and buy a second Harley here. Oh well, I'll get the Dyna I should have bought in the first place.

Just a shame , from my point of view, that the pound is worth bugger all right now ;-(
