    Hi mate

No probs with this exhaust scraping.  It all fits up just fine. .  The exhaust is pretty light compared to the stock pipes......so no need to run the bracket underneath off the crankcase.

I am thinking a 2 -1 Supertrapp for my 09 Bob = Hey Jam are you happy with the pipes?

    Hi Firey

Pipe is good mate.  Fits to the bike well and is really light compared to the stock set up.  You have a options to run open/ closed end caps and discs to suit.  I have one in black and it is holding up pretty well paint wise.

Not sure how it rates peformance wise against anything else as it would depend on complete set up.

Mine has the following and seems to run pretty strong:

Supertrapp (9discs/ Open end cap), Wood 408-44 with 4 degree advance, SE stage1, TTS with a Stix tune

I finally got around to buying them from M and M and installed them tonight, Its very quite!! I don't like loud, lets just say they will definitely go through rego!! my Mate was here helping and when we started it he was bagging me saying they sound like a VW they do!! I am ordering the open end cap now.
Its good and light - seems good chrome and it all fitted up well, I don't think it will scrap either so I think I will be a lot happier in a week or so when I can hear it.

Fit the Open End Cap and run 8-10 discs. (Open End Cap equates to 10 discs).  It will have have a louder sound.

As the pipe gets older  (5000 + kms) you will find it will get louder and deeper..... just the nature of the packing inside it!!

Stick with it mate it will come good........... Rather the note of these than the belly button exhaust.... (V&H Big Radz)

Good news, I think I am going to like them - I am doing some other work on the bike so I haven't ridden it yet - they are over a 100 mm higher than the standard headers and S/E mufflers so I will have to have it over to scrap these ones.
Like you said they are a lot lighter as well.
    Thanks for the info Mate

I am running S E P S T and when I was talking to my mechanic about these pipes, I asked him if I will need another tune - well blow me down guess what he said, yep just to be sure it not running to lean.

My bike goes heaps better with these pipes fitted, I live in the twisties and still no scraping! Dunno about if its running leaner - the plugs look the same - the exhaust looks its running properly for the klms that I have done - what else to look for Gents?
I don't want to put it into the stealers for a tune unless I have to

Yes - I don't want it to run any leaner so I wanted to know any more signs I can look for - rather than plugs and the exhaust, which still looks ok for the klms its done - not many!

Nice explanation.. and helps me confirm some of the thoughts I've already had on these very issues...

I've ironed out a lot of my tuneing based on these theories.. 'eyes, ears, smell' however my bike does not fart as much now..

    Cheers
