Question
A few of us are exiting the Big Smoke this Friday and heading for an overnight stay in Banjo Country afore the Saturdy NNR2011 ride.
We should be in the Beresfield / Heatherbrae area around 1pm on friday - recommend any good pubs about there we can get a fair feed at?

Good call Steve, Minmi pub is a good choice. We had Baz and Granny for a visit today,we had a good arvy. Granny suggested, IF the Thunderbolts Way is still closed next Saturday, we will head up north to Wauchope and take the Oxley Hwy. It's not as far as doubling back through Dungog to Singleton. BUT, knowing Gloucester shire, (ahem) they'll be working (hmm) diligently and have the Thunderbolts Way looking like a major highway, (cough, cough). It's not the destination, it's the ride there isn't???????
Hey Boyz,
Thanks for all the help on da Pub Grub and other places.
The hotel on the river at raymond terrace sounds good.

"Gee, Oh well" as Sman would say...........

Thanks Fatboy Mick for organising a great weekend .We had a great weekend and enjoyed the good company looking forward to the next ride hopefully on my bike.To all the other Forum members thank you for making Anne & I feel welcome.
Cheers Anne & Steve
Good on ya Steve, nice to meet you and Anne. Also nice to meet Scar, Fatboy Mick and his young bloke as well. The rest of the mob were as usual, rowdy buggers and I reckon Baz's camera will have some incriminating evidence of the what happened, can't remember much really. Hope everyone got home safe. We are glad to be home, there was a nice steady rise in temperature the closer we got as well. Also thanks to Evo for being our GPS, bloody nice ride between Grafton and Glen Innes, would love to do it in Summer though
Ahhhh, another successful "Numb Nuts Run". Thanks to all who made it that way. Great seeing new faces. Would recomend the Great Central Hotel Glen Innes, to anyone. Great hospitality. Deadwood, there's some photos' that might be incriminating, so we'll change the names to protect the innocent, that's what we'll do. We got home about 5.50pm, we had to take the long way home, (good title for a song) 1054k's all up we travelled. Walks in the door, and here's my other son with dang dreadlocks, it's like ummmm. Glad to hear everyone made it home safe. Thank you again folks, next year will be even colder. Last weekend of June 2012, TO BE ANNOUNCED. I'll post some photos' up on in the photo gallery
Hey Scar, in the photo gallery i made mention of your "Minor front end problem". I appologise for talking it down mate. It could have had dire consequences. Glad you made it home safe mate. You did well to keep it up right man. Cheers
