    Just wanting to know if any1 has had any success with painting white walls on black wall tyres?

    are there any that actaully work?

    Hey, there are mobile places that can white wall your tyres without taking the wheels off the bike. Two that I know of in Sydney, just not able to recall details yet, but leave it with me & I will find it for you if your interested.

    Had my heritage done come out quite good, but not as good as genuine w/w's

    Theres a few guys in Sydney doing this as a mobile service. My understanding is that its best done on a tyre with a bit of use as brand newies still sweat the release agent they use to get them out of the mould and it discolours the white and will require a re-paint. Mate got some done on his 68 Chev and it looks great.

    The shop is Custom Line Motors 444 High St 03 9408 8209,,, And Dave is right, it works the Best on Old Tyres. I know the guys that have done ride around for a month before doing it

    Just be carefull as the GRIND into the tyre to do it...

    The Tyres then aren't under warranty, make sure the guy is very experinced, seriously take about 5mm, maybe 8mm off the sidewall to do it.

    I just spoke to them, they only take 1mm to get a good clean surface

    I'll give it a go when I'm ready for it...
