I'm buying a '98 Springer and it occured to me the whole fuel thing has changed since these babies rolled outta Milwaukee. 'Super' is no longer available ... so is the 'Ultra' type stuff the best option? Highest octane I'm guessing? any additives you'd recommend or am I thinking about it too much?

'98 is an "Unleaded" model. Personally, I would choose a higher octane rating but it's probably not essential. Same as any upper cylinder lubricant - cant harm the motor but probably isn't necessary . . . .

Use 98 fuel when possible, it is kinder to your motor and it is essential if you have "tinkered" with it. I use it in both bikes as a matter of course.

If your not too sure put an addative in, it won't hurt.
