Saw the new CVO Street Glide and it looks the goods but undecided on what to get, Tourer or Softail convertable. 'CVO of course'

Looking for some thoughts and experience others have had with the Street Glide and anyone that owns a convertable.

G`day wildchild , my personal advice would be to , after doing all ya homework online sightin peoples advice and searchin and readin through the online reviews and stats , go an have a ride of the base models ya interested in before makin a final decision , ya already have a reasonable headstart by owning a reasonable late model Softail and an older tourer , but still worth a test ride of the newie`s just to be sure ?
Personally i would settle somewhere in the middle of what ya already have , and am bias as fugg and wrapped in the late model Roadies , as they come with quick detach stock screen and can be "quick detach" batwinged as well and can have fairing lowers also mounted or all removed too and stripped back for the wind in ya face effect ya get on ya fatty now ! I had an `07 96b FLSTC Heritage Classic prior too my current ride !
I now have an `09 96ci FLHRC Roadking Classic and couldn`t be happier myself and definately worthy of a testride and just going by the post `09 with all the changes that were made , the new ones i reckon would be spot on ! They`re a great ride 1 or 2 up and has passed any test i`ve thrown its way so far , only things i`ve added are the usual , SEPST , Hi`flo A/C , V&H Monster Oval cans , a rack and Hwy pegs , Willie G floorboard covers allround and a new 19" rider 14" pillion , One Piece , Mustang Regal Super Touring Seat , which was the best thing , besides the bike itself , that i have ever purchased sittin the rider down 1" and back 1.75" , it`s sorta like a HR Holden Bench Seat , well almost , though probably even more comfortable !
I recently test rode a `11 model 103ci Streetglide while my bro in law had one out for a testride at Richardsons HD in Launceston Tassie , prefering the ride hight of my roadie classic the first thing i noticed was the lower ride hight of the Streetglide , the 103ci donk has a great responsive feel to it as does the 6 speed cruisedrive tranny with the helicial cut 5th gear , silencing the slight whine the 09`s have in 5th , and the absolute rattle the 07`s had with the straight cut 5th gear !
Like others have mentioned your dillemma ain`t a bad one too have hey , just be sure too get the one that suits you best after exhaustin all avenues , but after recently seeing a flash new 110ci cvo ultra in the flesh , i done my nuts in an instant and the CVO dreams and visions still havn`t stopped rollin , the misses is startin to get worried all over again and seein her lookin at the roadie differently and the sparkle in her eye as she walked around the ultra , i recon she was impressed too , lol ?
Goodluck with it , ya lucky bugga , Hard Choice lol , Cheers , Skin

not too many with a hassle like that , good luck to you , personally i wouldn't buy any bike unless i had a good LONG test ride ,then make up your own mind ,
