    Team,

I want to change the std drag style handlebars on my 09 NRS. The salesman at the local dealer indicated that the the bars on a XR1200 sportster will produce a 3" pullbar from the std NRS bars and will not require a change to any cabling.?

    Is this so?

I like the std bar height on the NRS but a little more set back would be more comfortable - anyone got a suggestion on this?

Ill chuck some pics up of mine real soon so you can get an idea. I bought a set of rizomas just waiting on some bits to get machined by a mate so i can refit my bar end mirrors.

Watto. The muscles are a top looking bike too, my brother was looking at one but he just decided to keep his old one instead. I wouldnt worry about parts coming out. There seems to be more and more coming its just a matter of time. A lot of the stuff is common to both bikes too, bars, wheels etc.

Going back to the rizomas though, there are actually two sets of bars they make. They both look good but the early ones are starting to get hard to find. I prefer the newer style but its totally personal preference. There is a bunch of people on 1130cc.com that have them, just scout around the gallery.
