Tomorrow morning bright and early (well - 7.30ish) me and the daughter are going in to the Bunbury Indian Harley club (http://www.ihcvintagemotorcycles.asn.au/ 2 day rally. We will go in on the FL : Ash is hanging for a fang on it - she has been spoilt by modern motorcycles ( Born in 2000 - 01 Bonnie & 05 Springer) so seeing the FL burst into life the other week was a whole new ball game. She was amazed at the level of vibration - shaking the handlebars and guards and rattling tools off the workbench. I have put the bigger seat on it for tomorrow. Looks fucked so it will be changed back after the weekend. Only have an hour or so there before I have to whip home, drop off the girl and change bikes for the poker run. Don't know anything more about it than in the flyer . . . Shame it's this weekend as the protest ride is on in Perth. As it happens, I had locked in this ride before I found out about the UMCWA one so I will be heading off with a group of mates and making the most of it. The bike is packed and ready to go Can't wait ! Have a good weekend everyone . . . .
Well, the weekend went according tp plans and I'm fucked today Got away bright and early Saturday morning for the IHC rally. As usual a fine array of bikes on display and the old fellas are always happy to talk about their bikes (the 1917 outfit for example - the owner paid 8 quid for it 46 years ago. Had to talk it down from 10 quid cos he didn't have 10 quid. He rode across from WA, up to Qld and back again in the Reliability trial reenactment in 1990!). Anyway - here's a few photo's of the event : From there, whipped home and then back to Boyanup for the poker ride. This was a well organised event taking in some of the best riding roads in the South West. Didn't have the camera with me so just a handful of phone pic's. The ride took in Boyanup, Balingup, Nannup, Northcliffe, Quinninup and Pemberton. Campsite was shit hot and tucker was laid on last night and again for brekky this morning. Another early(ish) start saw a "spirited" ride through the Karri forests and home by mid morning. Top weekend ! Cheers Philthy

Wideglide - don't really know of any vintage bike shops that I could recommend - google is your friend ! I posted a link to the IHC at the top of this thread although it is "invisible" (click between the brackets above the photo). This is a great bunch of blokes and they will help you out where they can.
