So the journey begins. Good luck. Remeber, its not the destination, its the journey. Before you know it you will be one of those loud Harley types terrorising the tin tops. Enjoy.

G`day All , yeah Snowie i hope it`s all going well for ya`s , first services due yet ?
Just thinkin , ya should try to enlist in a course for a day or two , get too know ya bike in a controlled enviroment like throwing it around a track would help raise ya confidence and road craft skills which everyone should practice to keep it all fresh in ya mind ! Cheers , Skin

I saw that you said you were working on the Poker Run post. It was a great day. We did go back to clubhouse, but only for one drink because it was getting late and we live about 1.5 hrs away from Geelong. Wanted to get home before it got dark so that we didn't have roos jumping out at us.

G`day Snowie , There are Cirtificate Safety Courses About $350 for the day that are more about you and your bike and getting to know its capabilities and limits , teaching you roadcraft skills , setting up , posturing and cornering lines , on an actual race circuit at the next level after the learner course , though it`s not about hell for leather floggin ya ride and more about purposful control and gearing , i havn`t actually done one myself but have mates that have done and they say it is a good way for learners especially to get too know thier new rides capabilities and limitations in a controlled enviroment away from the roads , distractions and stress of traffic , which yeah you do and will experience along the journey on a daily basis , just an idea hey ! Not sure about where you are , but In NSW they were running them at the old Oran Park Race Way and they also have Advanced Level Courses At Eastern Creek Race Way too ! Cheers Skin

Good onya Snowie, we all gotta start somewhere. Bike looks great, as long as you are on two wheels it's all good.
Take it easy and stay upright.
