    Hey HogBagger,

The motor has just been put back together and put in the bike. A mate said maybe they put the rings in upside down and it is causing blow back threw the vent. I havent done the compression test yet and as for warranty there is none. It has Bathtub heads on it if thats any help.

don't know much about Ultima but i think they are better than Rev Tech. were do they breath from? like head vents or crank case? & were is your oil tank? like is it near the gear box or up high near battery?

first off take it for a good ride to get oil hot, that sometimes helps. if keeps up check seal but i think as it's just been rebuilt take it back show the builder.

Ok the oil is harley oil. I didn't think it would need to be bedded in as serco didn't mention that. As for builder gone out of bussiness so no luck there.

It is in a softtail frame and the tank is in the normal place under the seat Krash, Oh and it has a crank case breather near the oil pump.

hi krash i noticed that your've entered in mod bike  for the 18 march ?     bob

if the bike has been sitting for a while it more than likely  just wet sumped its self , nothing too worry much .  check oil level 1st , than run motor  for  1 min after that it should start to clear ,

Thanks for all the help guys i was about to throw it all in the bin. Just a quick one should i put the hose from the crankcase breather in the oil tank breather or leave it seperate. I haven't taken the bike for a long run just around the neighbourhood.

the bottom crank case breather near behind the oil pump is vent to atmosphere ,   don't worry about a bit of oil coming out of it at the moment ,     make sure the oil tank oil lines are on the right way around  look in the manual, has the bike not been started & run around the block yet if it's wet sumped itself a trip around the block should clear it out  ?
