    The link should be www.TradeMe.co.nz

Perhaps the reason for all the bikes there is that the restrictions on bringing them in from overseas are far less than we have here.

When I was over there it was claimed that NZ had the highest per capita ownership of Harleys anywhere in the world.  Not sure if that can be backed up with statistics or not but it was the claim.

Havent been over there since 04 but they weren't cheap then! Similar prices to here at the time (after converting to aussie dollar)

    Things may have changed since.

All these stats boys highlight how much ass raping we get here when walking in to buy a new Harley.
The government in NZ don't care (as much) for large importers to make big$$$ instead they introduce reasonable laws that allow everyday people to bring bikes in from o/s at a reasonable cost.

Down here, we get shafted every time we walk into Peter Stevens and the likes. How is it possible that Fatboy would cost 30k when our dollar was 62c USD and it is still 30k when the dollar is more than parity.

    What gives?!!!

Robcig, you reckon that 25k for a 3-4 year old bike is reasonable compared to Americans pay 12k for the equivalent?

Looks like new HD pricing in NZ is almost identical in dollars as Aus but the exchange rate is currently 75 cents Aus to the NZ $ making them 25% cheaper. Yep, we're still getting shafted!
