    Righto, here it is.

The front tyre is damn near 1/2 gonsky on the R/H/S. Were talkin nipples still on the left and feathered badly on the right. The bike tracks to the left if bars are released at h/way speed. Pressure are kept to the correct limit (anal about this).

    1. Cause?

    2. remedy? if its allignment then what is the recommended method, i've read the manwell it it says see the dealer??? Help

read on an old post, somthin about a Coat hanger (how)? measurment methods, where from, where to?

Rear is also feathered on the right, not as bad, I kinda put it down to roundabouts and camber. Kinda not happy as only 4500 on the tyres and nearly firetrucked. Townsville is flat and I mean flat so it isn't RH corners. I have 1 Round about between me and work. My mates and I do Legal speed limit riding (if M/PH = KM/H, know what I mean)

    reasons.?

    advice?

Night dragon front and Dunlop rear

    2007 Night train.

Normally front end tire wear and front end wobbles are caused by the rear tire being out of alignment, (rear wheel is pushing you one way and the front tire the other way.
You can use a coat hanger, straight section. Make a little bend 90 degrees on one end and on the other end I use a zip tie that is attached to the hanger and is moveable. Now take the end with the bend and put it into the hole in the front section of the swing arm pivot, just behind tranny. Now take the other end with the zip tie and put it into the little hole in the end of the axle. If you cut the zip tie to a point it will fit right in the axle hole. Try to make the measurement as close as possible. Now go on the other side of the bike and compare the length of the rod from the same points. the measurement must be as close as possible. you can use the axle adjuster to change the alignment. Hope this helps. While you have the rear wheel off the ground it would also be a good idea to check the swing arm bushings for worn parts. good luck dsv

Gee that not a good run on a front tyre. when i went to the stealers to get a front tyre they said you should replace 1 front for every 2 rears. my old girl has done 14000k with both f and r been replaced (dunlops).
the front was worn on the rh side also but that was put down to the camber on the road. Russ hope you find the reason (are the night dragon a soft tyre?).

Thanks DV. I will have a look today and use the method that you suggest.

I checked and adjusted the rear tyre alignment, I borrowed a set of 300 MM vernier callipers.

3mm difference between the L/H and the R/H axle to pivot point.

Bike tracks straight and hopefully the tyre will start to even up on the L/H sie.

I'll post after another 1000 or so and let you all know.
