hyosung = cheap (Korean?) = often crap. Not to push jap crap/sports bikes but there are so many better choices to be had - the ZZRs, GPXs etc etc are tough as nails. If you don't know what you're looking at you should get any bike checked over before you ride it anyway - better broke than broken.

Mornin` RED , yeah don`t rely on anyone kickin ya tyres for ya , expect the unexpected at all times hey , your life depends on it !
Though you would expect for a pre delivery/pick-up check for thier paying customers being a new bike of any kind , good way to lose customers , literally , Cheers , Skin

G`day WG , your 100% only trying to do the right thing hey , and yeah as usual , Obviously it ain`t the dealers or brands fault , like fugg hey ! What sorta customer service is that shit , didn`t ya see that mate ?
I did hear they got learner bike of the year or something silly like that , though for your own peace of mind and ya ladies safety , i would still go over it together , with your own fine tooth comb mate , and a fatty off the bat , although not un do`able would be a big step up ! Cheers Skin

Better they deliver the bike. Even if the dealer will come pick the bike up if you break down half way home you will still have to sit round on your arse for hours till he gets there. If its delivered you can start off with a smaller/slower/safer ride - safer for your GF or your friend if you get him to test ride it.

I bought a Hyosung 650 Aquila as my LAMS bike, I have to say that it is a great ride.  i too had it back to the shop, the bike was 3 years old and only had 114 ks on it, so the fuel systme needs a bit of a clean out.  i did a couple of houndred ks on it, then took it in and let them look at it, the carbies were out a bit apparently, they apologised and it has been running sweet ever since.  As your wife said, great bike to ride!!!!  I love it and as it looks really good the guys dont mind me tagging along behind the Harleys.  At least until I am off restrictions.......

Nice looking , its a pitty what hapend, but the dealer is responsible for the bike being put to gether properly , as they come to aust in a crate with no wheels on or bars or seat or pegs etc . then the work shop does the rest . Generaly it should be a good bike, not a power bike thow . anyway .safe riding and welcome to the forum

My first bike was a hyosung gt250, got it brand new in 2008. Had no problems with the bike and was a joy for me and the wife to learn on. Mind you only got 1 service on it and clocked up around 10000 km on it, she did the job. Only now i have realised that you can like your ride and you can love your ride. My wife has caught me in the last two weeks sharing a drink with the bike in the garage at night and a coffee and smoke in the morning. Safe riding.
