Im the same Cordie, Iv'e got Forward Controls with Drag Bars, 5"8 tall and I wouldnt have it any other way

Cordie, The forwards are great with the drag bars, i thought i might needed risers but no feels good with out them.
im 5'8 and find it comfortable. get the forwards Cordie you will love every minute of it.

take a few pictures of you guys sitting on your bike holding the handle bars so we know how its going to look....
