    Well firstly hi to all!

My head is still in a spin, but after 30 years of sports bike riding, im about to join a club that i have always jokinly hung sh1t on.  IM fed up of waiting for the blues and twos to appear from the hiding place with speed radar in hand. Im fed up of not being able to play hard and im fed up of walking like a duck for 30mins after each ride and sore shoulders for 3 days after.

So it looks like im gonna buy a Harley.

Never even ridden one before, but after a trip to my local dealer, a nice 04 FXD Superglide has been ridden and sort of reserved for me.  Gonna ride it again and the my 98 ZX9 may end up part ex'd agaist it.  Its done 32k and Im told it has bluff turbo exhausts, high flow air cleaner and a mikuni carb upgrade.  All of these mean nothing at all to me?

I wanted something a bit different and much more comfy as i reach the more vintage years myself, and my partner has trouble getting comfy on the back of the kwak too.

The deed isnt done yet, but i think its gonna happen.

    Questions

Am i doing the right thing

    Is this a good bike

Am i gonna get much sh1t from the sportsbike crew for all my previous comments,

Am i gonna get much sh!t from the Harley guys for waiting so long to see the light.

Hope to see u around guys

    Taff

Welcome Taff hope you enjoy the forums and congrats on geting the Harley. The only thing i wouldnt do is traed the kwaker on the Harley because you would get a heap more if you sold it yourself.Good luck with the new start to owning a Harley i dont think you will ever look back.
