Hey all, pretty new here. I've been thinking of doing a hard tail Buell. However looking at the forum I assume it'll be classed as an ICV. This being the case will it be easier to get through the compliance process if I were to leave all the running gear as Buell, all I will change is the frame and tins. should I bother or is it gunna be too much hassle.

    Thanks

    Eddie

If you can get a cheap doner Buell and keep all the running gear it should make the process a lot easier, the hard part will be dealing with the dicks at RTA with the ICV paperwork..... You going to use the Jig or buy a frame Eddie ???

These frames I'm looking at are top notch even though they are American MSO's and all that.

Sorry fastapastor I haven't puchased the donor bike yet just checking if it's even doable first

Chppaweeza I spoke some time ago to Peter Smith engineering and he's right off doing anything with bikes, can you suggest another engineer in the Castle Hill area who may be up to the task.

    Thanks everyone for the input.
