Plan to smoke/ tint indicator lenses on my Iron883, and know that on previous models you can either buy tinted clear lens and put in colored bulbs (which crap out). Other option to do it was the way I used to years ago when I was a painter - Use 2 pak clear with a few drops of black and spray the standard colored lenses. 

My question is about LED's which I know little about.

My '11 model has LED indictators AND  colored lenses. I was under the impression that if you had LED's, you could have clear covers (or tinted clear). Just trying to figure out if I can order some tinted CLEAR lenses, or should tint my stock COLORED ones.

Any help or hints appreciated.

SJ, are they the stock size indicators found on most Harley's? If so, Sin City Motorcycles in Currumbin QLD have replacement tinted lenses for $10 a pop, probably cost $5 for postage to Melbourne if that.

hey mate, I have the zodiac led's front and rear, they are a clear lense with orange globes.

iv'e had orange globes on my bike for four years with no trouble .good luck which ever way you go .

 hi sj yeah i put mini leds on the front and wanting to change rear lens, might be near sin city tomorow so ill check em out

Cheers guys. Yeah the idea was to hopefully leave em stock and just change over the lenses.

Also had a few people mention VHT nightshades spray to tint the stock lenses (way darker than smoked when dormant/ retains original colored lense when in use).

Mate i have the tinted lens and have the chrome indicator globes . So when you look at them not on the globes blend into lens and are orange when turned on . All purchased from Harley Heaven in Ringwood , Great Guys
