    Hi,

Just offereing a little advice to who ever would like it, I use to work in optometry and saw alot problems with sunglass's fogging up,there are

    two reasons that this happens,

    1. The main reason is because there isn't enough airflow  between the face and the sunglass, the wrap design are more likely to fog up

because they sit so close to the face, not much can be done except  having them adjusted so there's enough airflow or get a more suitable style need to see someone who knows what they are doing, bit like myself

    2. The other reason is the temperature of your face and sunglass is different, eg: your face is warm and the sunglass is cold, keep them in a warm place so when you put them on they won't fog up.

Hope that info. can be of help to those who have this annoying problem

G`day All , Beware the chemical irritants and fumes around ya eyes hey fellas , maybe spit and polish is the go after all , as in ocean and sky diving goggles ?
Though I thought that many poly style safety glasses came with an anti fog coating , but is usually unknowingly rubbed off with over abrasive cleaners or materials before they even get a chance too fog up ?
I have a pair of them multi interchangable lensed , dark smoked , blue and yellow lensed "blu-eye" goggles which are ok though personaly the strap-on style rubber frame is a bit annoying on ya skin and hair , though they work great , they too fog up in the cold and wet !
Though mainly (i have just got used too em over time & find em good allround) , just use them HD polycarbonate safety glasses and usually buy them 10 at a time , 3 x clear , 4 x mid and 3 x dark or whatever , they`re them budget $28 HD - 400 clear , 401 mid/semi mirror and 402 dark lensed Ebay specials and usually if needed just sit them 10mm further off my face for a bit to get some extra airflo behind em if they start to fog , they work great are comfortable and have a thin retaining strap to keep em on ya face and if ya buy a few they will throw in a case , i got 3 cases and carry 1 of each in the saddle bags , just don`t clean em tooooo much or use chemical cleaners or abrasive tissue paper and use a soft cloth or spit and ya thumb then a soft wipe with ya t-shirt or something , they are after all easily scratched polycarbonate and a throw away item really but while they`re kept in good nik , their great and 10 will usually last ya up too 3 years or so and when i`m done with them i give em away or take em to Thailand and give them to family to use as they sorta live on bikes , i tell them to hand em out to the kids in the village coz ya forever seeing kids with eye injuries from rocks and bugs hitting them while on bikes , not many people there seem to wear any eye protection at all when ridin , Cheers , Skin
