hi all... i have recently brought a 1970 sporty and am having problems wiring up the solenoid switch... ive just brought a new solenoid for it and want to wire it up proply to start with. the bike did come with one but it just clicks (i wired up myself) so i just wanted to make sure it is actually the solenoid..

i have looked everywhere and found heaps of wiring diagrams wich are easy to follow but none of the solenoid itself where the wires go to and so on. im not a complete dumbass but just want to make sure im not chasing my tail..

here is a link to a solendoid switch that has the contacts in the same place as mine.. but as i said i dont know wich wires go to where.. i could keep trying different ways but thought it might be easier this way and i wont set my bike on fire when i get irritated.
