Just on Fleabay and noticed these rear lowering kits for Roadkings (and I'd say other Tourers)
Any one tried it yet or know anything about them.
Looks like it may be ok, but looks can be deceiving

Hi I have a street glide & I put this kit on mine with also I have a set of arnott air shocks so when I run 2 up not a chance of bottoming out & the bike sit likes it was when it was on the stealer floor. With the lowering kit, shocks & the stabilser the ride is great 1 or 2 up.
Gidday folks, I have just ordered a complete front and rear lowered suspension from "Progressive Suspensions " in America. This suspension is supposed to be the bees knees and performs much better than standard Harley. I am 5 6" and just a little short. I have already got the reduced reach seat on my 2011 road king and ride reasonably fast so am hoping for the best of both worlds. I will let you know how it all goes after I have fitted it to the bike.

Gidday All, The Lowering kit arrived from Progressive Suspensions the othe day. I replaced the pump up rear shockies in about 20 minutes and then stripped the front end off my road king. Replacing the standard internals of the front forks was a simple job. The new internals comprise of a gas cylinder and springs attached to a rod which fits where the old one was in each fork tube. Depending whether you want to lower 1 or 2 inches determines what other spring you choose to add to the tube ( All parts came in the kit ).
After reassembling the bike, the first impression when sitting on the bike was it felt just perfect fit for me. I adjusted the preload on the coil spring rear shockies to only about 2 turns from the softest setting then went for a ride. The ride I went on was about 300klms on some very average back roads as well as some good roads.
The front suspension felt immediately more tighter. A little harsher but certainly in my opinion much improved on the standard front end. The bike seemed to corner more positively and had better feel. The new front suspension is not adjustable for damping or preload. The rear end felt good on the nice smooth roads but jarred pretty badly on the rougher roads. At no time did the bike feel unstable and it handled fastish cornering OK. I played with the preload a bit and came to the conclusion that setting it soft was not a good idea ........ I have the preload set approx 9 turns from soft at the moment and the whole setup feels good to me. I have not had the missus on the back yet but feel that with tons of preload adjustment left all should be OK.
As far as scraping anything on the bike while cornering, I didn't. I recon that as the suspension is "Progressive" and a little stiffer to start with there will be no issues with this.
I am happy with my bike now apart from the windscreen which I will tackle next. I don't know what the Harley lowered suspension is like. I chose the one I bought because of the gas front suspension hoping for a little better feel on the front end. I have no affiliation with Progressive Suspensions. I just found them on the internet.
Hope this helped
