I like it. I was going to do the same on mine. I have been watching ebay for one to come up but they are still too dear - and they are extra dear to buy new, particularly the two side trims at the front. It is good to know that they are a straight fit.

that looks great ... except for colour match of course ... does that mean the DX NRS air box would fit on my muscle ????

it will but the muscle has a HID light box under the left hand cover, you would have to relocate that for it to fit, u can see it in the last picture on the side of the musclerod,all the mounts from the previous vrod models are still on the muscle frame, only other thing that may fit differently is the seat,muscles have a square front and others are rounded
