Hey Sydney siders, has anyone had a spanner day where fellow members help with working on their bikes. We have them on another forum I'm on where we help do basic service items on 4wd's.

 

Anyone interested, all you need is a garage & the tools & a sense of humor when things get all fucked up

yeah good idea but I aint going all the way to NSW, but then again I need a holiday.

Any of the WA boys interested, with the fourby club that we are in we also have a sell and swap day (parts only), good for getting rid of all the stuff that piles up, gotta make more room in the garage for the bike bits

I have a double garage & most tools, would be happy to run one here for say half a day, then finish with a run up the old road to blow out the cobwebs & / or test what ever we were stuffing around with.
Why destroy shit on your own when it's heaps more fun to do as a group............................

well yes I have a good sized booze fridge, plenty of floor space & a couple of swags, but you'll have to be house broken if you expect to sleep in a bed.

SWMBO wouldn't like having to change sheets coz of ya nocturnal nightmares

I have recently done my A/C swap, simple really, me that is, the A/C job was a piece of piss, next will be some grips & some black bling.

Would this be a decent job to have as a spanner day, get a mob together to see how to replace grips & swap over things like derby covers? Then put some dead amimals on a hot plate & consume them with frothy ales

well I be in that but not good with spanner can cook a good tbone
