Howdy   - anyone else have rear dunlops with cracks in the tyre tread surface. 10,000 kms - 50% used (very quiet rider) Softail Heritage usually fully laden with biker chick etc 

Crack in the tyre between the treads about 2 inches long and appears quite deep. Is this normal and is there any cause for alarm

Just to be safe I'm putting it in for a replacement - but seems a bloody waste of a good tyre. I suppose I'm up for about $300 ??

Anyone with similar problems ?

It is definately a deep crack - doesn't look like a cut to me. Seems unusual but supa glue is not the answer - the missus would kill me and never get back on the thing.

Just interested if anyone else has ever had a crack along but between the treads.

Maybe I'm just plain unlucky (or just plain)
