    G'day Guys,

    I thought id get this thread up early so people can start planning things if they were thinking about coming to sturgis next year (2012).

    If you started putting $90 a week into a 'holiday fund' starting 1st March 2011, youll have enough to pay for the trip by  the time it comes around in august  2012.

    imagine a group of forum guys in sturgis! the place will never be the same

    Here is some info on our tours......

    In 2012 we will be offering our summer tour of Route 66 followed by the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.Each tour can be taken independently of each other or back to back depending on your time and money.The Route 66 Tour July 12 to August 2 – Cost $8495* per person twin share (2 in a Mustang or 2 on a Harley & 2 per room)The Sturgis Tour July 30 to August 20 – Cost Approx $7495* per person twin share (2 in a Mustang or 2 on a Harley & 2 per room)For those that do both – Cost Approx $13995* per person twin share (2 in a Mustang or 2 on a Harley & 2 per room)

    Single traveller will pay a supplement and that will take some working out but this will give you are starting point.

    We are still getting the cost worked out and confirming the tours with our suppliers for 2012.*all prices are estimations and are subject to change and are yet to be confirmed

     If you do choose to do both you will depart Australia July 12th and return to Australia August 20th. (37 Night Tour)If you were to do just the Sturgis Rally (19 nights) you will fly into Las Vegas and out of Chicago, travel extensions are always possible.

     The bike of your choice subject to the 2012 list

    All your hotels with breakfast

    An experienced Australian Motorcycle Guide

    A support vehicle to carry your luggage, spare fuel and a spare bike

    Entry into all the National Parks we visit along the way

    Entry to the Harley Museum in milwaukee

    Return Flights & taxes from Australian East Coast Capitals

    A welcome dinner

    A farewell dinner

    A good time

     2012 Summer Tour - July 12 to August 2 - Like all our tours, the Summer Tour includes the option to road trip on a Harley Davidson, and if a HOG is not your style then why not take a Victory. Just let us know your preference and we will endeavour to get the bike of your dreams. The bikes run the same basic itinerary as the Mustangs but with their own guide and backup van. Effectively we will have 2 tours in one. Contact us for more information. (19 night Tour)

    2012 Sturgis Motorcycle Tour – July 30 to August 20 - Join us as we take you on a magical road trip through some of the world’s most beautiful National Parks. Ride the Rocky Mountains to the Black Hills of South Dakota, where we will take in one of the biggest bike festivals of all time. The 72nd Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally is from August 6th to 12th and we will be right in the middle of it all. We then continue East via the old Lincoln Highway to the Harley Davidson Museum in Milwaukee before concluding this amazing journey in The Windy City of Chicago. (19 night Tour)

    I would love to go, but monies tied up in our house construction...................driving me nuts actually, there's always opportunity when you dont need it but when you're cashed up there's nothing going on!!

    yep,bought return tickets, hired harleys ,rode to sturgis, 5,ooo....had a fat time ,they are goin again in 2013

     Route 66, when I go to your website and click on more info for the Sturgis tour, all I get is info on route 66 tour.

    Have you got an itinery for the Sturgis tour?

    I did this trip on my own 2011 its more flexible on your own,stop off were and when you like no hassles,accomadation is cheap and not pre booked.
    I purchased a low Mls 09 Deluxe in L A and had a ball on my tour,stilll waiting on the bike to arrive back here via Chopawezza.Thats another story! Worth the trip .

     Whats the best campground in Sturgis itself?.................I know there is plenty out of town and "Da Bus" and all that, but is there a campground within easy walking (staggering) distance of main street?

    just letting everyone know that if your interested in doing our sturgis tour this year, we only have 2 rooms left, then were all sold out! all tour participants on this tour are from Aus. There is a mix of singles and couples.

    The tour will be Vegas back to Vegas, including some great parts of route 66 through Arizona, grand canyon,petrified forest, painted desert, canyon de chelly,monument valley, arches national park,deadwood, mount rushmore,crazy horse memorial,yellowstone National park,bonneville salt flats and bryce canyon.
