G'Day i'm new to this site and have been reading a few things that i am finding interesting. I currantly own a 95 wide glide which i have owned from new and will be holding onto for good. Before this bike i owned a 82 sportster (roadster) shovel that was the first bike i had rebuilt but being young and stupid i never took any photos of. I like beer and bikes and living the lifestyle i enjoy.

Hi everybody. I'm new to this site, I have a 2010 'Softie' that I manage to get out on most weekend with my son (2010Thunderbird) his father in law (2009 BMW R1200) and a friend (2011 Thunderbird). We're all in Perth.

I  had V&H straight-shot 'slip ons' and a Screaming Eagle air intake fitted for the 11% more power suggested as possible. The latter means that I cannot take advantage of the foot rests on the' Moustache' crash bars that I had previously installed as the element gets in the way of my right leg . In the recent LTR mag' there was an article on V&H intake elements suitable for V&H "straight shots" that can be installed into the original 'softie' air filter housing. Has anyone any experience with this and do I need to have the bike put on a "dymo" to be retuned, after fitting the new element?
