I purchased a import as the bike was never sold new in Australia
Bought from a dealer on the gold coast paid $26 000 a lot for a second hand bike but all the factory extras make up for the price
Dealer fitted pirelli night dragon tyres and was very helpful
None of my mates that I ride with ( they all have Aus sold harley's ) could care less that my bike is an import we all enjoy riding our bikes isn't that what really matters ?

Finlay my bike is arriving at home on 29/11/2011 now i must book for a R/W/C and book with Vic Roads for inspection and to get  rego on it.

Choppa, just noticed you're out in Richmond, I live out there too, should have a ride one day.
Also, from what I've been reading, am I right that I could import a "new" bike from the states if I had a mate that lived over there, and bought it, got it registered into his name, then sold it to me right? technically thats a used bike, and should be fine to import?

good times. its a looonnnggg way off, but when i'm ready to buy my next HD, i'm thinkin stateside via Chopaweeza is the way to go. cheers

I am interested in a 2010-2012 Wide Glide, is that the sort of thing choppaweeza can bring in and do you do/organize the RAWS as well?

Often see the 2010 or 2011 year going for about 10k US, am i going to land this and be rideable for 15k? 18k? 20k? 25k?
