Saturday Ride July 19th 2008
“Grant A Wish Ride”
Advanced Notice

We have been asked to make a dream come true for a young lad who has a bit of a struggle on his hands.
As asked: “Could we provide a ride for a young lad by the name of Jayden Green.
Jayden is an 11 year old lad with only months to live due to rapidly developing cancer.
One of Jayden's wishes is to ride on the back of a Harley Davidson amongst a large group of motorcycles.”
The MRASA and SAMRATS would love to support this cause. We have the Harley. We now need a large group of bikes. We would like to provide an opportunity to any rider to support this cause.
As we don’t have a lot of time and everyone has a very busy schedule, we thought we would get out advanced notice and follow up with the specifics over the next could of days.
Current thinking is to have a mob up in the city area then riding to either Birdwood or Mt Pleasant which are both close to Jayden’s home. From here we will ride to Hahndorf, have a half hour spell then return to Birdwood/Mt Pleasant.
We expect riders may go directly to Birdwood/Mt Pleasant if that is more convenient.
This event may be filmed so if that is a problem for you then you decide. This event may have support from SAPOL. Again, if that is a problem for you decide accordingly.
We expect to have greater detail available by the weekend. Please feel free to pass this information to anyone you feel would like to know.
