Howdy, Another shovel rebuild.

    Howdy, I'm a shiny new member from Preston, Melbourne. Been looking/lurking on the site for 12 months or so now. I ride an 82 FXB Sturgis (more correctly rode as its rebuild time !). This has prompted me to get computer access at home and join the forum. Can't complain too much as the bike has done approx 90k miles. Its my first shovel rebuild so im bound to have lots of questions. I understand John Trease is the guru on this side of town. Would appreciate his contact no. as i suspect full rebuild is required.      Welcome Dutchy,

    Looking forward to the pics. I remember the 82 FXB well, the brand new shipment was in at Burglars & Stealers and I drooled over the FXB and FXWG while waiting to take delivery of my humble 1981 FXEF. The FXWG was 8,500 at the time and out of my league, but my 81 and I had a long time together (20 years) and got to know each other very well.
    Kiwidave might read this post and give you info on Trease.
